Green Tourmaline in Quartz Rare Green Tourmaline in Quartz - large tumble Tourmaline comes in many colours; Pink (Rubillite), Black (Schrol), Blue (Indicolite) and more besides. Green Tourmaline, however, is an excellent healing crystal. Its lovely deep colour resonates directly with the Heart Chakra, helping restore a sense of hope and joie de vivre where despondency, grief or depression has been present. Wearing or using a piece lets us see that we have options in life and can help us see which is the best route for our spiritual progress. It is said to be able to rekindle creativity where it has been blocked (as with writer's block) and is, therefore excellent for creative and artistic types. It has also been used for earth healing and connects with all earth energy work; especially if using or working with herbs, and has long been though of a healer of ailing plants. If kept with you, Green Tourmaline is also thought to be very lucky for the owner; attracting abundance and prosperity! Although the crystal has not been backlit or the photo altered in any way (we always use daylight photography bulbs), this particular specimen appears slightly darker 'in the flesh' than shown in the photo. When held up to the light, however, it comes alive and you can truly appreciate just how full of Green Tourmaline it is. Plus, on closer inspection, it has a couple of lovely rainbows in it.
