Verdite Pyramid Verdite, also known as ‘African Green Gold’, is a variety of Fuchite found only in Southern Africa. It consists primarily of Fuchsite with small deposits of Albite, Chlorite, Corundum, Quartz, Talc and Rutile. Its colour ranges from emerald green to brown. A highly prized and increasing rare crystal, Verdite is over 3.5 million years old. It is said to be of benefit for cleaning and oxygenating the blood and for reducing toxicity. It is an excellent stone for confirming hunches as it activates the truth response mechanism, sending a tremor or chill sensation down the spine. No sensation means no verification. Some people will experience a very strong reaction, others only mild.
